Earn 2X Hyatt Points at Thompson Hotels

World of Hyatt members can earn 2X points on eligible paid stays at Thompson Hotels worldwide through November 10, 2026. You must register before your stay, and only base points are doubled. That means you'll earn 10 points per dollar instead of the usual 5 points, plus any additional points from Hyatt elite status or your credit card. We wouldn't go out of our way to book a Thompson property just for these bonus points, but it's an easy opportunity to earn extra Hyatt points if you already have an eligible stay planned.

Delta and Hyatt Announce New Loyalty Partnership

Delta and Hyatt have announced a new long-term loyalty partnership that will launch in the coming months, just as Hyatt and American Airlines announced the end of their partnership. When it launches, elite members of both programs will get a new Dual Earn benefit. Delta Medallion members will earn SkyMiles on qualifying Hyatt stays in addition to their usual World of Hyatt earnings, while World of Hyatt elite members will earn Hyatt points on qualifying Delta flights in addition to their usual SkyMiles earnings. Delta and Hyatt say additional benefits and opportunities will be added over time, but they haven't released many other details yet, including when everything will begin. Hyatt also launched a partnership with Air Canada Aeroplan over the summer, so World of Hyatt members will have reciprocal benefits with two major airline loyalty programs.
